My name is Aviya and I live in Alon Shevut, Gush Etzion, Israel. I was born in Jerusalem at Sha'are Tzedek hospital on April 26, 1994. We are currently four children in my family and I'm the oldest. Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, a very holy place for the Jewish people and it's special to me to have been born there.
Alon Shevut is a small community in Gush Etzion, an area that is 20 minutes (by car) south of Jerusalem. The height of this area is around 900 meters because it is part of the Hebron mountain range.
In my spare time, if I have some, I like to cook and bake. My grandmother says that my cakes are very delicious and I could work in a fancy bakery. I also enjoy using the computer, usually on the facebook ,like all of you.
I'm a "madrichah" (counselor) in Bnei Akiva in a small and special "moshav" called Aderet. Every Tuesday and every other Shabbat I go there on a bus with all the other counselors. The ride takes us thirty minutes down to a valley where David faced and fought Goliath.
I'm making activities that have a message about the Jewish peopleand the land of Israel. The children in my group are in fourth grade. They are very sweet and I LOVE THEM.
I study at a girls' high school called Neve Hanna and I'm in 10th grade.
